My parents said that if i got straight As last quarter, then i'd get an iTouch. but i said that a nano was fine. so, ive been asking some of my friends how many songs they have and if they actually bought the songs. most of them dont. some use lime-wire, jailbreaking, and one uses tubefire.com

We had a sub in Spanish today, and usually whenever we do have one, we have to do random worksheets or something. but, we got to watch spongebob in Spanish cuz it's educational! we watched that jellyfish episode where squidward keeps getting killed, the exploding pie one. right before the bell rang, it showed that the next episode was F.U.N. hahaha lol! okay, so this year, for our morning announcements, they decide to put on that Pokemon song a lot. but, last year, it was F.U.N. and sometimes the campfire song. i actually still kinda remember them from back in elementary school :P

Earth day

Waita sec....arent we supposed to 'preserve' our earth today? so turn off ur lightbulbs and stuff. But, don't computers use up more power than lightbulbs? then how come we have MAP testing today (and i AM on right now typing)?! we should get a holiday today, maybe earth day would work better then ^^

fyi, im also trying to learn japanese froma japanese friend in gym. so far, i learned 2 phrases, the 2 most important ones that you need to know. i dont exactly know how to read japanese, so i guess this is what it sounds like:

Yotsuba

Yotsuba - if you dont know about it - is about this little kid with green hair and 4 pigtails in a manga called...Yotsuba. oh wait, that wasnt so obvious ^^

i used to read it when i was littler, maybe 4th grade? but when i relized that the manga section in our school's library had 2 of their books, i remembered all the fun times. the manga WAS really funny, and beside, yotsuba is really cute :)

i had my freshman orientation today, which just finished. i think the vid that they made, thatt we watched in the auditorium was pretty good, except he guys sitting behind me were really immature for multiple reasons that im not gonna explain.

i saw Avatar yesterday at...11:25. apparently, at the mount prospect AMC, the movie was only 5 bucks, if u saw it before noon. oh, and i didnt see it in 3d. it was still as good as it sounds. at least it was better than twilight ^^

In my history class today, we were told that we had to write an essay. the topic is due next monday, and the whole thing is supposed to be due next friday. we get to choose our own topic. we can pick anything from this video/song "we didn't start the fire" by Billy Joel.
