And... the whole aizen and arrancar part of the show is over. hehe episode 310 came out today.
it would be totally sad if i didn't know that there's another part coming -- and ichigo didn't even lose his powers yet...
so, i felt like in episode 309 last week, mugetsu was kinda awesome and lame at the same time. the awesome part of it is that it's all super big and powerful and black and awesome and stuff. but, like when he's just doing the regular getsuga tensho stuff, he totally yells really loud and stuff. but in the final getsuga tensho, he was just like "mugetsu", and aizen loses..
ahh, can't wait.
i totally feel like an anime nerd right now -_-

sidewalks
So, I live really close to my high school, so i have to walk home everyday. and i hate walking home, especially in the winter. even more so after a huuge blizzard in which there's like 5 feet of snow.
right now, i really dislike those in charge of the whole snow removal business. they didn't even think about what happens after those idiot snow plowers plow their snow - right onto the sidewalk. i mean, snow plowers are great and everything, but seriously, no one's able to walk on the sidewalks anymore, cuz the snow keeps piling up (and it's all slushy and dirty D;). i wish they also sorta at least clear out some of the snow there...
and why not just walk on the streets? since maybe it's like a major road and cars are going down 40 miles an hour 24/7? sighh...
so what happened today was that i walked home after school, and the sidewalks were pretty decently clean - like only half a foot of snow. then, after that first block, the streets with houses were next. and the stupid snow plowers already started pushing their snow right before you get on the sidewalk, you know. then, the next street, apparently maybe that section of streets had more snow or what, but the snow seriously covered up the whole freaking sidewalk. i tried to walk on top of it, but the snow hadn't had time to harden enough yet, so i sank down into the snow up to my thighs while i was like wtf.. then i went and walked on the streets when there wasn't as many cars there yet, then ran. however, cars are pretty fast, so i seriously almost got ran over by at least 5 cars, but i didn't cuz i (ahaha) slipped on the slush while i was running and fell backwards into (don't confuse it with onto. if you go down the major street i was talking/typing about, you could probably see the imprint/dent in the snow if they haven't already plowed the snow that was snowed today..) the dirty between-the-sidewalk-and-the-street snow. fml.

chinese new year performance
our class's show was just...... ahaha.... interesting. that's all it was...
basically, we did our show about us sorta insulting each other in Chinese, and then dancing to a portion of Zhong Guo Hua by S.H.E.
the speaking part was alright at first, the audience laughed (at least the part of the audience that actually understood what we were saying). but then after the person next to me accidentally skipped a line, it messed up the whole timing. so, we were switching off turns like, girls say a phrase, then the guys, etc. after that, we totally blew it -- the guys then like totally skipped their part and stuff, while we trying to seriously not start cracking up right in front of the audience. then blah blah blah... we did the rest of our speaking part. and then we danced
Danced wouldn't be the right word for it really. so, we split up into a girl group and a guy group again. the guys were in front first while we were in the back. (just thinking about this is making me randomly lol while the rest of the house is totally quiet... my bad) the guys then did their part which consisted of them mock fighting each other, doing the wheelbarrow (i forgot what you call it..), while this one guy (hmm...i don't like saying people's real names online so lets call him the guy-who-won-the-camera-that-i-wanted-in-the-raffle-in-the-dinner-this-year aka camera guy) did some random moves (like he did last year) in front of the stage. and what were the girls doing all this time? pretending we weren't just standing there doing nothing. i think we did sorta make up this swaying move to do, but no one did that...
and then after the guys couldn't think of anything else to do, we went up -- but microphone stands were there so i almost tripped over one of the wires (which would of created a huge domino effect lol). we had this sorta repetitive dancing thing which was totally like the macarena. but of course we weren't synchronized.
That was the 9th grade performance, which is actually our last chinese school performance forever, which is kinda sad. next year we get to be emcees.....
the 8th grade class (which is my old class before i got moved up in 5th grade) is now made up of all guys after 3 of my friends got moved up into my class this year. they did this Wu-ha dance. totally lmfao the whole time(although not as much as our show). short story is that they totally...idk.....such a complicated explanation....
and then 10th grade haha. they're actually 2 classes (i think one's bilingual or something?). they were the emcees (its a total tradition that 10th graders are always the emcees -- it's when u graduate there), AND they had to do ballroom dancing :D which was also totally funny since i know a lot of people from that class, and the way they paired up. so, i tried to video tape their dance with my ipod, but the nano can't zoom, and i was sitting in the back row, so you can't see anything in the video... oh well.
then, there was a dinner afterward with a raffle drawing there. i didn't go (long story). anyways, the big prize was a ipad, and one of the 10th grader(haha funny he's actually in 8th grade in regular school) won it...some people are just soo lucky. and camera guy won the camera.
ahh...the end. my hand hurts from typing. and i should start studying xP

daisuke namikawa
OMG OMG OMG
first, you know how like usually when someone voices a character, they're usually shown on other shows?
so, this guy, daisuke namikawa is this japanese seiyu who plays like a million roles in animes and they happen to all be one of my favorite characters in those shows.
for some reason, this also seems kinda awkward..
so, some of the characters he acts as are:

ulquiorra cifer - bleach
fai - tsubasa
otori choutarou - prince of tennis
hohenheim (when he was still a slave) - full metal alchemist
tetsuya sendou - ouran high school host club
serioulsy, i wonder how much money japanese voice actors make...

thundersnow
And yes, we don't have school tomorrow :D
apparently the blizzard that's happening right now is being compared to the 1978 blizzards? ehh creepy... maybe we will probably get Thursday off too, but since I'm in district 211, we probably wont... who knows.
and then the weather forecaster person said that there would be this thundersnow storm tonight, which i haven't heard of before. thundersnow sorta seems like a title for a book.
i think that he also said that Chicago was gonna get hit the worse of the storm. Chicago downtown is going to have like 24 inches of snow (which is totally a lot if you think about it), while my town would have about 20 inches? it's still a lot.
