VMB
today was our first marching band competitions, beside the home football game yesterday (in which the varsity team pretty much did horribly), but that doesn't count. we did have practice performing in front of the crowd. so, today, we went to 2 competitions: Lake Park's HS "Joust" competition, and Naperville Central's Benedictine University's "Marching Classic". here's the foreshadowing for a future list:

- apparently its in roselle
- we had to wear, what mr. moore calls them, trousers on the bus
- we have big black hat boxes
- i keep hitting tab cuz of computer programming now
- it was cloudy, which was a sorta good thing
- our jackets are tight and stuffy
- i hate gauntlets
- ...and the hats
- the show....really not that good; our anchor was lopsided, the hook was unrecognizable(we got 7th out of 8th in the AA)
- my hair kept falling off/out
- i ate lots of chips
- i left my water bottle on the metal toilet paper holder thingy
Naperville:
- its in naperville
- i wish we get more water breaks
- apparently there's a difference between college and high school hash lines
- we messed up a lot
- i had like 3 water bottles and drank em all at dinner
- we went back to the field and watched the AAA and college bands
- the western Illinois college one (haha, the purple people), there was this girl who lit the ends of her baton on fire and did her routine with that
- award time
- 3rd place...nope we didnt win,... 2nd place=FREMD HIGH SCHOOL, and everyone in our group jumped up and screamed in shock(?). lets just say, we were definitely the loudest.
- apparently, fremd never won a marching band award for a LOOONG time, so yay
- bus 3=the loudest, we were belting out the movements....

classzone
A FML kinda thing, except im not mad or upset or anything, just stealing the whole Today, I kind of beginning :)
So,
Today, i, as a total procastinator, started to do my spanish homework, but relized i didnt have my spanish 2 book, nor did our teacher ever give it to us. but, it was still homework. then, i remembered about my classzone account, and how my spanish 2 book was also online. i clicked on the 2010 link, but started to freak out cuz i didnt remember that page. but, i tried in all my usernames and passwords that i remember, but it didnt work. i really started to freak out, since that would mean i would fail my 1st hw assignment, so i started yelling and banging at my computer. then, i went back to the spanish 2 homepage and clicked on the 2007 online book link. the page looked familiar, and when i typed in my username and password, it worked. but there was still a problem; i didnt have the activation code. so, i googled: Classzone ¡Avancemos! Level 2 activation code, clicked on an Edline link, it had a random Here is the activation code for your ¡Avancemos! Level 2 online book. typed the code in, and it worked! but, for some reason, i felt kinda guilty....idk why... at least i did do my hw
